When you follow this pizza chain on twitter, there's a chance their mascot will "follow" you in person. This is hilariously creepy. Kind of genius. Kind of funny. But mostly creepy, no?
"When the pizza restaurant chain Mellow Mushroom kicked off [its] "Follow Me and I’ll Follow You" campaign recently, it left out one slight detail: the following might end up extending beyond Twitter and into fans’ real lives. Created by Atlanta-based agency Fitzgerald+CO and directed by Arts & Science’s Adam and Dave, a new series of videos shows Twitter users going about their day, only to be ambushed by Mellow Mushroom’s mascot, a giant felt mushroom that looks like it fell out of 1967 Haight-Ashbury and into a shallow puddle of THC resin."

THAT'S TOTALLY (kind of hilariously) CREEPY!
I also just submitted this comment at the bottom of the article:
You have a typo. It should say, "When the pizza restaurant chain Mellow Mushroom kicked off ITS "Follow Me and I’ll Follow You" campaign recently,"
Its=belongs to it (no apostrophe)
It's=it is
I was really hoping I read it wrong, but the apostrophe is definitely there. *Sigh. Come on, Fast Company! I have come to rely on you for at least decent grammar!

What's worse? Too many apostrophes or not enough?
I know this blog is turning into a grammar blog these days, but I just can't help it. And my friend Jane is feeding me such good material. I can't just turn it down!
You would think that a company like H&M that has a punctuation mark as part of its name would understand how important a punctuation mark is! Ugh.
The way the sentence is written above, it's as if they're saying "we were working on our appearance, but then we stopped because we don't care anymore". HA HA HA! Just add a freaking apostrophe!
THAT'S TOTALLY CREEPY and horrible grammar!

Claming?
Oh SF Gate. Please just hire a 6th grader to read your headlines out loud so you can avoid writing headlines like this: "James Spader claming 'the Office' top spot"
I know, I need to just start a bad grammar blog, but until then, we will file this under creepy grammar. I still think it's somehow TOTALLY CREEPY.
(Bravo, Jane for always catching this stuff!)

Sad headline, and not necessarily because the Giants lost
Really, SF Gate? REALLY?!!!
Headline:
Argh. So frustrating. That's TOTALLY CREEPY grammar!
(Thanks to Jane for sending me this gem)
Headline:
Giants tie it, than lose it in Chicago

Someone needs to fire their proofreader
This is an ad on the NYC Subway for DELTA AIRLINES. It's not like it's for some tiny coffee shop that doesn't have a huge marketing budget. Even then, they'd probably AT LEAST read the ad out loud once, or have some 5-year-old read it out loud once, and hear that it's totally wrong.
The ad says (no joke): "A TICKET ENTITLES YOU TO MORE THAT JUST A SEAT"
Really? Am I entitled to more THAT just a seat? How about more THAN just a seat? I'd really like to feel entitled to some correct grammar as well. AHHHH! Stuff like this drives me nuts.
I don't have twitter, but if you do, tweet this to @deltanewsroom, @deltaairlines, @delta, @deltaassist, and use #deltafail. There's no email address to contact Delta Corporate. But they have all of these twitter accounts. Someone needs to get fired.

Your cute...My cute what?
I used to get really creepy messages from really random, creepy guys on MySpace (when I still had a page up. I deleted it for many reasons, including the following). They'd say things like, "your cute, wanna _______?" And the blank was not filled in with fun, non-creepy, suggestions. You get the idea.
Anyway, here's my thing: if you're going to hit on someone, don't do it on MySpace, and don't use such bad grammar (which includes using the word "wanna" for "want to"). I am not the queen of grammar by any means, but this one irks me. The bottom line is:
Your=possessive
You're=contraction of you+are
Saying "your cute" makes no sense. Unless you're commenting about something and you add other words. For example: "[I like] your cute [shoes]".
THAT'S TOTALLY CREEPY and annoying.
